Sigrid, congratulations on a second year of low buys! I love the way that you structured this year and am looking forward to reading about your purchasing patterns - the trend FOMO is real. I totally get how you feel about secondhand shopping. It took me a few years to really get into it, but today most of my favorite items are preloved. Excited to see how you feel at the end of the year.
First off, sending you a huge congrats on your low buy 2024! 22 items for the entire year is amazing! And thank you for being so open about your shopping struggles - it seems like you have such a great foundation for this challenge and I'm excited to see how the year goes for you!
Thank you so much! It's a struggle to shop less, but I hope to learn a lot from reflecting on my behaviours. I also think having someone to be your accountability partner like in your substack chat will help - or at least force me to be honest with myself ;)
Good luck and looking forward to following along! Those current lust items are VERY NICE.
Might have to pull the trigger on the sweater! The slides feel more like a nice to have, but did see a second hand option....

I really hope to shift my mindset a bit and also look at second hand options.
