Haha I have the same with jeans and summer shoes/sandals. I have two jeans in total, but they can use an upgrade. I tend to wear more trousers in general and they are easier to shop for.
Shoes are my achilles heel - my narrow feet can’t take slipon shoes very well. I often need to curl my toes to keep them on… A tip re shirts - have you tried shopping the men’s section? Their shirts are broader on the shoulders and slimmer on the hips. They also do different fits, like slim and regular. I sometimes buy men’s to get the sleeve length. A Cos men’s cashmere jumper is one of my faves at the moment. 👌🏻
Yes to all of these! Shoes especially drive me nuts. Half the time I finally settle on a pair and think they are comfortable only to learn the hard way at some point or another that I was wrong. Then they just sit in my closet gathering dust. 🤣
Omg yes, I'm so with you on the jeans!! I wear jeans all the time, but the thought of having to find new pairs fills me with dread!! And you're so spot on with the whole "don't worry, they'll stretch out" thing...I never end up actually making it to that point 😂
Oh, I’m definitely with you on the jeans. I was just thinking today that I really do want to get on the baggy jean trend, but like you said, I’ll have to devote time to trying on a bunch in person. As annoying as that experience would probably be, ordering online and having to return because they don’t fit right would be even worse.
All of these! I have narrow feet and I’ve given up on finding loafers and slip on shoes that don’t fall off. I settled for a pair of short navy Tretorn boots and suddenly there were so many cute options like leopard print, faux chelsea boots, white rain boots 😣 I use them only a handful of times per year so it’s not worth upgrading.
I also find knitwear tricky! I live in knits but they should not be too hot, too loosely knitted/delicate, pill, itch, too basic in style, etc etc.
Love how you flipped this on its head! My hate to buy but love to wear are white tank tops, t-shirts, and any sort of "practical" item like sneakers!
Practical items can be so annoying to buy!

Usually trousers don't stretch so that at least makes it a bit easier.
Bras for sure and anything you have to take off your bottoms to try on - so jeans and pants.
Bras can be so hard! I've found one that works and stick to that one 😂

I sometimes shop sweaters in the men's department, but haven't had much luck with shirts - but it might be worth another try 😊

That's just so annoying!
I’m with you on all four!! This is so true!
The pain is real!

If jeans weren't so versatile I don't think I would bother 😆

Really can't recommend ordering jeans online - they are heavy 😂

It's so typical when you settle for something then the options start coming!
